The Greatest Muhammad Ali has passed away at 74 years old. His legend as an activist as well as boxer placed him in the highest regards by people over many generations and across all continents.  In his youth he was a three-time heavyweight champion but his opposition to the Vietnam war, role with the Nation of Islam and his amazing, engaging personality won him supporters and idolization. He had been hospitalised on Thursday 2nd June 2016 for respiratory problems at a hospital near his home in Phoenix. He was eventually put on a life support machine, however so after that was not enough. He leaves behind his wife, Yolanda Williams, nine children and a vision of hope and strength. He will be missed.

Long live The Greatest.
